If there is vibration in the pipeline, there is a risk of the cam lever opening unexpectedly. Secure the lever with a lever lock (optional) or by other means. For applications with vertical orientation, it is recommended to install the adapter on the upper side.2. When screwing in, remove any foreign objects or burrs from the threaded portion and apply sealing material (such as seal tape). Tighten to the appropriate torque (over-tightening can cause damage to the body, while under-tightening can result in leaks). After installation, ensure there are no deformations, scratches, loose parts, or foreign objects adhered to the body or components.3. Before operating the cam lever, always confirm that there is no internal pressure, residual pressure, or remaining fluid. Opening the cam lever with internal pressure can cause the coupling, cap, or plug to eject forcefully, presenting a danger. Fluid may also leak or spray out.4. Do not use a hammer or excessively long extension handle when operating the cam lever. Using excessive force can cause the cam lever to break and damage the body.5. Avoid pulling and dragging the coupling with hoses, as this may cause the cam lever to contact the floor or obstacles, leading to accidental opening or breakage, which can be extremely hazardous.6. When closing the cam lever, be cautious of the risk of pinching fingers between the lever and the body. Use the palm of your hand to press the cam lever closed, avoiding placing fingers between the lever and the body.7. The cam lever is made of stainless sintered metal and may be powdered by certain fluids. When cleaning the arm lock coupling, remove the cam lever and clean separately.8. When using PTFE accordion gaskets with the coupling, initial tightening of the cam lever may be stiff. It is recommended to set the coupling and adapter in place before piping and tighten with a vice or similar tool to break in the gasket before use.9. Select the appropriate material based on the type of fluid, pressure, temperature, and other conditions.
